In those days, the house of Y’hudah will live together with the house of Isra’el they will come together from the lands in the north to the land I gave your ancestors as their heritage – Jeremiah 3: 18

In those days, at that time, says Adonai, the people of Isra’el will come, together with the people of Y’hudah.    They will weep as they go their way seeking Adonai their G-d. They will ask the way to Tziyon and turning their faces toward it, will say, Come, join yourselves to Adonai – Jeremiah 50: 4-5

Yehudah has to go her ‘prophetic way’:

In ‘the Judicial Authority (Mechoqeck*) of HaShem: ‘The Rabbinical leadership is the Divinely authorized Teacher of the Torah of HaShem for Yehudah (the Jews).

Gen 49:10 “The sceptre shall not turn aside from Yehuḏah, nor a Lawgiver (Mechoqeck*) from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him is the obedience of peoples.

H271 חָקַק* châqaq khaw-kak’ A primitive root; properly to hack, that is,engrave(Jdg_5:14, to be a scribe simply); by implication to enact (laws being cut in stone or metal tablets in primitive times) or (generally) prescribe: – appoint, decree, governor, grave, lawgiver, note, pourtray, print, set.

Ephraim  has to go her ‘prophetic way’:

Devarim 30:10 if you obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim (Messiah Ben Yoseph, the Divinely authorized Teacher of the Torah of HaShem for Ephraim!), to guard His commands and His laws which are written in this Book of the Torah, if you turn back to יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.

Re-union in the hand of G-d:

RABBI MALBIM On EZEKIEL 37 : The full name of the MALBIM was Meir Leib ben Yechiel Michael [Weiser], but he is called “MALBIM” for short. He lived in 1809-1879 CE. The Malbim comments on Ezekiel 37

[In Ezekiel 37:16, Ezekiel was told to take one stick, FOR JUDAH. Ezekeil was then told to take ANOTHER STICK, FOR JOSEPH. Ezekiel was told in Ezekiel 37:17 to join the two sticks together. THEY SHALL BECOME ONE IN THINE HAND. The two sticks (representing Judah and Joseph) were to first become one in the hand of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 37:19 G-d says that the two sticks SHALL BE ONE IN MINE HAND.]

[Ezekiel says that] First the two sticks will become one in your hands and afterwards they will be one in my [God’s] hand.” [i.e. This means that: First Judah and Joseph should try to join together from below and afterwards God will help them from above].

On the same theme: “Kol HaTor” emphasizes The Two Sticks (representing Judah and Joseph) Must be Joined Together through Our Initiative!

Ezekiel (37) speaks of the stick of Joseph [and Judah and the union of Judah with Joseph].

At first the union [of Judah with Joseph] comes about through arousal from below by way of nature [through our actions] as it says, “Join them one to another into one stick.” And afterwards [the re-union is confirmed] in a miraculous manner, [through the hand of G-d, as it says in Ezekiel “they shall become on in Your hand” meaning they shall become re-united in the hand of G-d!

In the original Hebrew the verse could be understood either way. At all events, The MALBIM understands the Hebrew as saying that Judah will be put on (attached to) Joseph (and therefore will be at first of secondary “attach” status importance to Joseph.

The Messiah son of Joseph will be the leader of the Lost Ten Tribes. The MESSIAH SON OF JOSEPH was to appear before the MESSIAH SON OF DAVID. In some sources the MESSIAH SON OF JOSEPH is called “The First Redeemer.” The “Second Redeemer” will be the Messiah son of David.

In the HaBerith HaChadashah Scriptures ‘the Messenger of His Presence’ is Messiah Ben Yoseph. by many also called Yeshuah Rabbeinu.

Isa_63:9 In all their distress He was distressed, and the Messenger of His Presence*saved them. In His love and in His compassion He redeemed them, and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

As a matter the HaBerith HaChadashah Scriptures are an ‘extension’ from what our Sages (Jewish) are teaching about Messiah Ben Yoseph…… in His ‘job’ ‘to gather the Lost sheep of Israel…..’

Now he didn’t speak this way on his own initiative; rather, since he was cohen gadol that year, he was prophesying that Yeshua was about to die on behalf of the nation, and not for the nation alone, but so that he might gather into one the scattered children of G-d – John 11 : 51 – 53

Messiah Ben Yoseph said:
Mat 10:6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Yisrael
Mat 15:24 And He answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Yisrael

Beit Yaaqov is a spiritual house, built with higher wisdom and has carved seven pillars announcing Good news of Redemption – Jubilee release – Binah – Repentance with Understanding through oneness of Wisdom of Most High.

Beit Ya’aqov International, Created with the goal of uniting all of the Lost Tribes of Israel who are mixed with gentiles and together build as a Spiritual Holy Nation in the Diaspora under the divine mandate of Mashiach –  Yeshua Melech HaMashiach

Started Behind the rivers of KUSH” and blowing a SHOFAR about the World union of the Lost Tribes from Israel  –  (dispersed) Yehudah  and  (outcast)Ephraim and their Friends(Gentiles) in the reconciliation with the Jews/House of Yehudah under the Divine Mandate of Mashiach ben Yosef – Yeshua Rabbeinu our Mashiach.

As it is Written:
“From beyond the rivers of KUSH my worshipers, the daughter of My dispersed ones (Ephraim/Manasseh), shall bring My offering” – Zep_3:10

“From India even unto Ethiopia, over a hundred and twenty – seven provinces” Esther 1:1

As it is written in Zephaniah and Esther, xerxes who ruled over 127 provinces stretching from india to cush. A note from rabbi  Avraham Greenbaum on Zep. 3:‘V 12: The commentators indicate that the KOOSHIM mentioned in this verse (and in Tzephaniah 3:10) as a people who come not from Africa, as many believe, but rather from beyond the rivers of India (the Indus??? see Rashi on this verse and Targum Yonasan on Tzeph. 3:10). This would conform to the opinion in the Talmud that KUSH mentioned in Esther 1:1 was adjacent to India and not in far off Africa (Megillah 11a). It was to Kush that the Ten Tribes were exiled.

Ariel, The Watchmen from Israel notes: ‘from behind the rivers of India’ where many of the tribes are still settled. The navi also state: Zep_3: “From beyond the rivers  of Kush my worshipers, the daughter of My dispersed ones (Ephraim), shall bring my offering. That is needed to liberate us from the dead sentence that we loaded on ourselves with our sins, the reason why our forefathers were exiled. The daughter of my dispersed ones (Efrayim) repented before the presence of Most High. Our Heavenly Father accepted this ‘Mincha’.

After the resurrection of Yeshua, He Instructed his disciples to go and preach Teshuva(Repentance) and Torah to all Nations in his Name(Authority), which means according to his teachings – Matthew

Beit Yaaqov is anticipating the personal and universal redemption through the process of Teshuva and the proclaiming the teachings of Torah of Mashiach.

Individual and Universal Redemption

The Redemption of Egypt, which serves as a prototype for the final redemption:

  • Second redemption will also include many visible miracles
  • Second redemption will make the ultimate impact on not only Israel, but the whole world

“Yerusalem Above” is Binah as Jubilee, the Symbol of freedom/redemption, ” Binah is associated with Malkut (Kingdom) in its rectified state, when it is freed from the “evil side” (Brought back to its proper state – the Jubilee Release, in the Millennial Sabbath and the Olam Haba.)

In the same manner that the israel in Egypt saw signs and wonders during the time of their redemption from bondage. So too, we shall see revelations of G-dliness, revelations that our eyes of flesh and blood can not believe, revelations that our minds will stutter to comprehend, revelations of G-dliness so amazing that we will walk like drunkards, unbelieving our own eyes and ears. When the final redemption comes, with the arrival of the messiah, we will stagger from the power of one revelation, until we are shown another revelation, which is even greater than that which preceded it. We will not have words to express the sights that our eyes will behold.

The Sefer Mitzvos HaKatan wrote in his explanation of the Positive Mitzvah of, “I am G-d, your G-d, Who took you out of Egypt,” that it means one must know that, He Who created Heaven and Earth alone controls [the world] above and below. However, to this he added, “This [mitzvah] is the basis for what the rabbis teach: At the time of a person’s judgment after death, they ask him, ‘Did you anticipate redemption?’ (Shabbos31a). Where is this mitzvah written? Actually, it comes from this [same mitzvah], for just as, ‘I am G-d, your G-d, Who took you out of Egypt,’ means that we are expected to believe that G-d redeemed us from Egypt, and it also means, ‘Just as I want you to believe that I took you out [from Egypt], I also want you to believe that I, G-d, your G-d, will gather you in and redeem you in mercy a second time’.” According to what he (Sefer Mitzvos HaKatan) has said, belief in the future redemption is part of our faith in, “I am G-d, your G-d,” and thus is the first of the Ten Commandments.

……..Stand up and lift up your heads, because your Redemption is drawing near – Luke 21 : 28

However, if we examine ourselves, it seems as if we are very far from having faith in the future redemption. Occasionally we speak about G-d having made Heaven and Earth, and that He directs creation. However, when it comes to the arrival of Moshiach and the resurrection of the dead, we are quiet, as if we are embarrassed to speak about them, as if we have given up [on such realities] altogether. However, the words of the Sefer Mitzvos Katan should arouse trembling in our hearts since they are part of the mitzvah of “I am G-d, your G-d.” And, anyone who is not involved with these matters is far from having any true faith . . . In truth, most of the Shemonah Esrei deals with the future redemption . . . And, just as we are lacking faith in this matter, we are also distant from the essence of prayer. We lack connection to [the blessings regarding redemption], and all of our prayers are only lip service! (Ohr Yechezkel, Emunas HaGeulah, 1960; p. 287)

However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?  (Luke 18:7-8).

Midrash Rabbah, Exodus III:4 – What is the meaning of G-d’s statement, THAT I (ANOKI) HAVE SENT THEE? Our Sages said it is symbolic of the first deliverance, for with an anoki Israel came into Egypt, as it is said: ‘ I (anoki) will go down with thee into Egypt’ (Genesis 46:4), and with an anoki will I take you out. It is also symbolic of the latter redemption, for with an anoki will they be healed and redeemed, as it is said: Behold, I (anoki) will send you Elijah the prophet.

As explained by Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh: Rabbi Chaim ibn Attar (who passed away in 5503), author of the commentary Or HaChaim, explains our verse as referring in its entirety to the Mashiach. He explains that the Mashiach’s coming will be hastened, if the Jewish People merit it, and if not, then he will come “in its appointed time.” This is the meaning of the quote “in its appointed time, I will hasten it” (Isaiah 60:22), as interpreted by our sages. In accordance with this understanding, the quote “I behold it, but not now” (not immediately now, but very soon) refers to a state in which the Jewish People are worthy, whereas “I behold it, but not in the near future” refers to a state in which they are not. So too, if the Jewish People are worthy, then the Mashiach will come in a manner from above to below as pictured in the phrase, “a star will go forth from Jacob” and as it is said “he will come via the clouds of the heavens”–in the merit of the service of the majority of the souls of Israel, the average ones amongst the Jewish People, the rank and file–who may be labeled “Jacobs.” Whereas, if they are not worthy, then the Mashiach will come in a manner from below to above, “and a staff shall arise in Israel” and as “a poor man, riding on a donkey”–in the merit of the service of the minority of the souls of Israel, the Tzadikim of the generation, who are labeled “Israel.”

Vilna Gaon writings:  This unification is a role of Messiah ben Yosef: unify of Yesod and Malchut. This is one of the principal missions of Mashiach ben Yosef:

To unify heaven and earth, to unify the two meshichim, which means the tree of Yosef with the tree of Judah during the awakening from below with the joining of Jerusalem above with Jerusalem below by a rebuilt Jerusalem.  Then it will be like a city that is united together (Ps.  122:3).

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait ..  – Philip 3: 20

On the contrary, you have come to Mount Tziyon, that is, the city of the living  Holy One, heavenly yerushalayim  to myriads of angels in festive assembly, to a community of the firstborn whose names have been recorded in heaven
– Heb 12:22-29

Whoever survives in Zion and whoever remains in Jerusalem will be called holy
–
everyone who has been appointed to survive in Jerusalem— Isaiah 4: 3

Return to New Covenant:
The “New Covenant” is Binah, where all comes together and Shekinah is associated with the redemption of our souls.

If then you were raised with Messiah, seek those things which are above, where Messiah is, sitting at the right hand of Most High – Colos 3 : 1-3 –

… and is in servitude with her children, and the Yerushalayim Above is the free-woman, which is mother of us all – – Galatians 4:22-31

You who bring good news to Tziyon, get yourself up on a high mountain, you who bring good news to Yerushalayim, cry out at the top of your voice!Don’t be afraid to shout out loud! Say to the cities of Y’hudah, “Here is your Most High! – Isaiah 40 : 9

… because your redemption is drawing near.” – Luke 21: 28

To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for Salvation – Heb 9 : 28

And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to Most High and to Speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem
Luke 2 : 38

We had hoped he was the Messiah who had come to redeem Israel – Luke 24 : 21

For (even the whole) creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for Most High sons to be made known( waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship
Romans 8 : 19

Ingathering of the Exiles Ushering in Ultimate Redemption:

“Kol HaTor” says [2.40] “His [i.e. Joseph’s] bow abode in strength” (Genesis 49;24). This should be an important principle for us. We have to stand obstinately strong in the holy work of gathering in the exiles which is the task of the first redeemer [i.e. of the MESSIAH SON OF JOSEPH].”

The  ingathering of exiles is yet another part of the process of redemption, as promised in Deuteronomy, and in many places in the Prophets – Jeremiah 29:14; Ezekiel 11:17; Isaiah 56:8; Psalms 106:47.

“Most High your G-d will gather you even from there he will go there and get you.” Deut 30: 1-5

Then Ya‘akov called for his sons and said, “Gather Yourselves Together”, and I will tell you what will happen to you in the LAST DAYS  – Gen 49:1

Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O shameful nation
– Zephaniah 2:1-4

The Midrash Rabba speaks of the future reunion of the two houses of Israel saying:

AND HE SAID: GATHER YOURSELVES TOGETHER (HE’ASEFU)… ASSEMBLE YOURSELVES, AND HEAR (xLIx, 1 f.). GATHER YOURSELVES TOGETHER from the land of Egypt, and ASSEMBLE YOURSELVES into Raameses; GATHER YOURSELVES TOGETHER from [the exile of] the ten tribes, and ASSEMBLE YOURSELVES to the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. He thus commanded them to show honour to the tribes of Judah and Benjamin.1 R. Aha interpreted [the word HE’ASEFU], ‘Purify yourselves,’ as in the verse, And they gathered themselves together… and they purified themselves (Neh. xII, 28 ff.).2 The Rabbis say: He warned them against dissension, bidding them, Be ye all one assembly. Thus it says, And thou, son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it: For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions (Ezek. xVII, 16). ‘ His companion ‘ is written: when the children of Israel unite in one band, then they may prepare themselves for redemption. For what follows this? And I will make them one nation in the land, etc. (ib. 22). (Gen. Rabbah xCVIII:2)

The Midrash Rabbah here is making a drash on the two phrases GATHER YOURSELVES TOGETHER and ASSEMBLE YOURSELVES, applying this as a type of their future reunion and redemption (as seen in Ezekiel 37)

The Midrash Rabbah also teaches that the Gentile nations will be blessed by the last days restoration of the Ten Tribes by virtue of their having been scattered among them:

They shall come trembling as a bird out of Egypt–this refers to the generation of the wilderness–and as a dove out of the land of Assyria (Hos. xI, 11)–this refers to the ten tribes; and of both of them it says’ And I will make them to dwell in their houses, saith the Lord (ib.). Rabbi says: When a certain kind of dove is given food, the other doves smell it and flock to her cote. So when the elder sits and discourses, many strangers become proselytes at such a time; so, for instance, Jethro heard the news and came, Rahab heard and came. So through Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, many strangers became proselytes at that time. What is the reason? Because, when he seeth his children sanctify My name, then, as it goes on, they also that err in spirit shall come to understanding (Isa. xxIx, 23, 24).

(Song of Songs Rabbah IV:2)

Finally the Midrash Rabbah tells us something about what became of the Lost Ten Tribes:

AND SHE CALLED HIS NAME JOSEPH, SAYING: THE LORD ADD TO ME ANOTHER SON (xxx, 24). ANOTHER [i.e. different] in respect of exile. R. Judah b. R. Simon said: The tribes of Judah and Benjamin were not exiled to the same place as were the other ten tribes. The ten-tribes were exiled beyond the River Sambatyon, whereas the tribes of Judah and Benjamin are dispersed in all countries. ANOTHER SON-in respect of dissension. R. Phinehas said: Through Rachel’s prayer the tribes of Judah and Benjamin did not revolt [against the Davidic dynasty] together with the remaining ten tribes. ANOTHER denotes the behavior of others.   (Gen. Rabbah LxxIII:6)

Scripture tells us that the final redemption of Israel and the ingathering of the exiles to the Land of Israel is directly tied to the ultimate sanctification (unification) of the Name of G-d:

Ezekiel 28:25-26 –Thus said the Lord YHWH-Elohim: When I gather in the House of Israel from the peoples among whom they were scattered, then I will be sanctified through them in the eyes of the nations, and they will dwell on their land that I gave to My servant Jacob.

Great Trumpet Blowing and Gathering of Elect

In Leviticus 22:24 when describing the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, which is a “holiday of remembering” and a “time of (shofar) blasting,” and in Leviticus 25 in recounting the details of the Jubilee Year.

The shofar is used on special occasions to signal fasting and repentance, to sound a warning, to indicate that an extremely important event is about to take place. In Exodus, Israel heard the sound of a loud shofar as the Divine Presence descended on Sinai in fire and great power. We see both in 1 Corinthians 15:51 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16 that the shofar will also be sounded at the return of Messiah

Blast the Great Shofar for our freedom, and lift a banner to gather our exiles, and gather us together from the four corners of the earth (Isaiah 11:12). Blessed are You, O LORD, who gathers the scattered ones of His people Israel.

Sound the great shofar for the freedom of Your People Israel. Raise the banner to gather the exiles of Israel, and may we merit this prophecy, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that G-d is with you” (Zechariah 8:23) at its appointed time. Be mindful of us, HASHEM, when You favor Your People; take note of us when You deliver them, that we may enjoy the prosperity of Your chosen ones, share the joy of Your Nation, glory in Your very own People (Psalms 106:4). Blessed are You, HASHEM, Who gathers the dispersed of His People Israel.

Orthodox prayers about lost tribes of Israel in Amidah

Three times a daily – for the children of Israel to come back to land,Blast the great shofar for our freedom,And a lift a banner to gather our exiles. And gather us together from the four corners of the earth. Blessed are you , O Most High, who gathers the scattered ones of his people Israel.

The Torah has already promised that Israel will repent at the end of her exile and will then be redeemed immediately, as it is written, “And it shall come to pass when all these things have happened…and shall return to the Lord your G-d…and then the Lord your G-d will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, amongst whom the Lord your G-d has scattered you” (Deut. 30:1-3).

Yissachar Shlomo Teichtal, in his Em Ha-Banim Semeihah, ch. 1 (Mekhon Peri Ha’aretz 1983 edition, pp. 78-80), offers a different approach. He explains that the Rambam is following a third Tannaitic view, that of R. Yehudah in Yalkut Shimoni (2:595), that repentance must absolutely precede redemption and if Israel does not repent, it will not be redeemed. According to R. Teichtal, the events will proceed as follows: the Israel people will return to the land of Israel, Eliyahu will come and lead the people to repentance, the messiah will come and usher in the final redemption. Thus, repentance will precede redemption but not the return to the land of Israel.

The Talmud Yerushalmi (Berakhos 1:1) tells the story of how R. Hiyya Rabbah and R. Shimon ben Rebbe were walking together at dawn and saw the sunrise. R. Hiyya Rabbah said that the rise of the sun is similar to the Redemption of the Jewish people: “So is the redemption of Israel. At first, little by little (kim’ah kim’ah), as long as it continues it gets bigger and goes further.

In New Testament: Yeshua starts a mission to find the lost tribes of Israel.

Matt 15:24 “But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Yeshua confirms that his mission is exclusively to find the lost sheep of the northern kingdom.

Matt 18:11 “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. “

Luke 15:14 “What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?” Yeshua confirms that he has STARTED a mission to find, to go after that which is lost the northern kingdom.

Luke 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
